Shipping and Processing
Order Processing can take Carys Cuttlefish Inc anywhere from 7-14 days or up to 2-4 months for select pre-orders. Most of our wares are made by hand and therefore require we take our time in making the best product possible. Delays are to be expected during our high volume times . Due to the nature of some of our products such as prints, patches and stickers; these items will be subject to letter mail for the free shipping option and and will be exempted from receiving a tracking number. This is not disputable with Carys Cuttlefish Inc or Canada Post.
We offer free tracked shipping on our products outside of Canada (unless exempted under Shipping and Processing). However, we do purposefully charge shipping on large single items weighing 400 grams and upwards. Within Canada, orders will be shipped letter mail (unless they meet the 400 gram threshold for charged shipping) to keep our shipping rates free for customers within Canada. Shipping rates will also vary between provinces, states and countries as there is no standard shipping rate when shipping worldwide. Shipping charges are not disputable with Carys Cuttlefish Inc or Canada Post.
Once your order is released to Canada Post, they will process the information provided by Carys Cuttlefish Inc and activate your tracking number (unless otherwise stated under Shipping and Processing). Delivery times will vary depending on your location. Down below are some rough estimates on shipping times once orders are in Canada Posts possession.
- Canada Lettermail (Province Dependant) - 1 Day up to 2 Months
- Canada Expedited Parcel (Tracking)(Province Dependant) - 1 Day up to 3 Weeks
- United States Lettermail (State Dependant) - 2 Weeks up to 2 Months
- United States Tracked (State Dependant) - 1 Week up to 1 Month
- International Lettermail (Country Dependant) - 3 weeks up to 4 months
- International Tracked (Country Dependant) - 1 Week up to 1 month
It is to be noted that Canada Post does not offer tracking to select territories such as the Middle East.
Shipment To PO Boxes and APO/FPO Addresses
Shipment to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses will be subject to our shipping platform Shipstation. If the address provided by the customer is not recognized by the location services within Shipstation; the order will be deemed undeliverable by Canada Post and returned to Carys Cuttlefish Inc. In this instance, the customer will be reached out to by Carys Cuttlefish Inc and will be asked to be provided alternate shipping details to send the order. PO Boxes and APO/ FPO addresses may not be eligible for tracked shipping; alternate shipping details will be required by the customer.
Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
Customers will receive order confirmation details via their provided email address and will give customers details on expected shipment dates and a tracking number (if applicable). Tracking numbers can only be activated by Canada Post when the order is scanned and becomes active in Canada Posts system. The provided tracking number in the confirmation email will start updating with tracking information and when the package is scanned at specified locations to the customers destination. If delays occur in the tracking information, contact Canada Post or your countries postal service to inquire why the delay has occurred. Carys Cuttlefish Inc will not have any more information to provide than what is provided on customer tracking numbers.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
Carys Cuttlefish Inc is not responsible for any taxes that are added onto orders, these are a result of individual jurisdictions and our responsibilities to charge them as by law. Carys Cuttlefish Inc is not responsible for any customs or duties that are charged on orders. These are the responsibility of the customer to be paid when the order arrives. Failure to pay the customs or duties will result in the return of the customers orders to Carys Cuttlefish Inc with cancellation and full refund returned to the customer. Customers will be notified by email if cancellation occurs.
Carys Cuttlefish Inc ships orders worldwide. It is to be noted that not every country is eligible for tracked shipping, such as countries in the Middle East. Carys Cuttlefish Inc can offer letter mail shipping worldwide without limitation.
Damages and Returns
Products can sometimes get damaged in transport while in possession of Canada Post. Canada Post is not liable for any damages that occur to orders while in their possession. If you receive an order that is damaged, you can reach out to Carys Cuttlefish Inc via email firstname.lastname@example.org. Carys Cuttlefish Inc will insure that the damaged product is remade/repackaged and resent to the customer with increased protection if more protection in required in the packaging. If a product that was purchased is missing from the customers order, Carys Cuttlefish Inc will get the missing item packaged and sent out with tracking at no additional cost to the customer. Carys Cuttlefish Inc is not liable for any damages that occur to products while in the customers possession. See Refund Policy for information on returns.
