Learn the legend and folklore of this creature, with detailed stories and information on the back of the card as well as a Divination, Oracle, or Fortune in case you decide to build your collection of these cards and want to make a custom deck.

Divination/Fortune meaning:

There may be someone in your life trying to come back and get a second chance. It looks like their intentions aren't the most kind or compassionate. Before you let someone back in and give them another shot, be sure that they don't have selfish or unkind ulterior motives. You deserve to keep yourself safe and happy despite whatever kindness you might hope to share.

These creatures are usually seen floating out by bodies of water, legend has it that they are souls that have unfinished business and are attempting to lure unsuspecting others to join them in the afterlife so that they dont have to be so lonely. Others might call them faeries, or spirits. Some even say because they tend to roam so close to these bodies of water that they may be the spirits of those lost on ships looking for companionship or their loved ones.

The name Will o the wisp is derived from the story of a man named Will. He lived an awful life, and when St.Peter gave him a second chance at the gates and brought him back his second life was even worse than his first. So he was damned for all eternity to walk the earth as a mischevious spirit, causing chaos. That is why they warn that Will o the wisp is not a friendly or kind spirit but one to be cautious and  steer clear of.
