Learn the legend and folklore of this creature, with detailed stories and information on the back of the card as well as a Divination, Oracle, or Fortune in case you decide to build your collection of these cards and want to make a custom deck.

Divination/Fortune meaning:

Something might be trying to distract you from where you really want to go. It can be easy for anyone to be pulled away by something shiny and beautiful. It's time to realign your goals, think about the path that you want for yourself ahead and focus your energies on that even if that means keeping your distance from a person or thing that might be taking you away from what's important to you.

Folklore:

Datura goes by several different names, Jimsonweed, Witches thimble, and thorn apple for its distinctively spiked seed pods, to name but a few. This plant is a member of the Solanaceae family, a group of plants both known to be beautiful and deadly.

In contradiction to its dangers historically Datura has been used by many spiritual practices and cultures to aid in divination and spirit flight, opening the gates to communicate with their deities, worlds and allowing travel between this and other dimensions.

There are accounts of hallucinations, induced by the plant causing witches to fly. Other historical accounts include the plant itself hypnotizing unsuspecting victims with its spiralling petals, and beautiful flower by moonlight into their untimely demise.

Despite its beauty, it is better to admire her from a distance than to touch for fear that you might succumb to her poisonous and deathly nature.
